This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When a page is requested, Vercel processes technically necessary access data (IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system details) in server logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses.

Fonts

The typefaces used (Clash Display, Satoshi) are served from my own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other provider, and no data is transferred to third parties.

Contact through the enquiry form

If you fill in the form on the contact page and choose “Send by email”, the details you entered (name, business name, email address, topic, type of business, timeframe and your message) are sent to my server and delivered to me by email.

For delivery I use Resend Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA as a processor. Transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses.

To prevent abuse, your IP address is briefly counted in memory when you submit (at most five submissions per ten minutes). This count is not stored permanently and is discarded after ten minutes.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns steps prior to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I keep your enquiry and the related email for as long as it is needed to deal with it, and beyond that only where statutory retention periods require it.

Contact through WhatsApp

If you instead choose “Send via WhatsApp” or click a WhatsApp link, you leave this website. WhatsApp opens with a prepared message which you still have to send yourself.

From that moment the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland applies. I have no influence over processing by WhatsApp. If you would rather avoid that, send me an email instead.

Measurement

I use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages are viewed and how fast they load. No cookies are set and no cross-device identifiers are created. An anonymous value is derived from technical request details which cannot be traced back to you and changes daily.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in a comprehensible and fast website. As no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required; that is why there is no cookie banner here.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email to me is enough.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority. The competent one is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
